Mike Ditka was exactly who you thought he was: gritty, tough and unapologetically himself.
Former Bears quarterback Mike Tomczak joins me on Show Pony Live to honor his former coach and remember what it was like to play for a Chicago icon. We talk about Ditka’s intensity, the toughness he demanded and the lasting impression he left on the men who played for him.
For those of us who grew up loving the Bears, Ditka was more than a coach. He embodied Chicago. Today, we remember him with someone who knew that fire firsthand.
