For Episode 1, Nashville-based country singer, UK native and Sunderland supporter Amy Alexander joins me to talk about the remarkable connection growing between Sunderland, Elvis Presley and Nashville.
Amy performed at Sunderland’s official Nashville watch party last week and recently joined the club at the Gibson Garage, where she gave members of the team a guitar lesson and sang “Can’t Help Falling in Love” — the Elvis classic that has become an anthem for Sunderland supporters.
We get into Sunderland’s connection to Elvis, the club’s new Elvis-inspired kits, Amy’s love for the Black Cats and why Sunderland is making a real push to build a little piece of Wearside right here in Nashville.
