I’m the guy who once believed in fairy tales and happy endings. And even though life has a way of reminding you that things don’t always work out like they do in the movies, I still believe we have to savor the moments that make it all worthwhile.
Life is hard. Challenges with our jobs, our health and our families pop up along the way. Some days, it feels like there’s always something waiting around the corner.
That’s why I cherish being a husband and a father.
And it’s why watching my friend and Full Ride partner Rick Neuheisel watch his son Jerry has been so special to me.
Because I know what it feels like to look at your child and be so proud that you can hardly put it into words.
